Noelle Noelle grew up in the small town of Glin, West Limerick, Ireland. Influenced by her father's love of music, a traditional Irish fiddle player and singer, singing became second nature for Noelle.

At the age of seventeen, Noelle left home and headed for the University of Maynooth where she studied science and communications. During this time, a deep desire to express herself led to an interest in writing songs, learning the guitar and joining a band. In 2001, her interest and passion for singing led her to study voice full time for a year in Newpark School of Jazz, Dublin. This experience opened her up to a whole new world of musical influences and it was here that she met some very talented musicians who later played on her album.

Noelle's songs evoke emotions of elation, joy and sadness covering topics of love, spirituality, loss and peace. She gathers inspiration from her personal life and from those around her.

In 2007, Noelle studied a postgraduate certificate in Education in Devon, UK. She returned to Ireland in the summer of 2008 and currently works as a primary school teacher. Noelle says: "I feel very grateful that I will be able to leave something of me behind - something that will connect those who will come after us with those who are here now. I want to voice things that I have seen and felt through song: snippets of fleeting moments and cherished memories."
